Upsala Area Schools is seeking individuals to join our paraprofessional team to support students' academic and behavioral needs in our K-12 building for 2024-2025 school year.
Candidates must be willing to work collaboratively with other educators under the direction of a teacher. This position requires individuals to be caring, patient, and focused on achieving individual student goals. Other supervision duties such as lunch, recess, and transportation may also be required.

Upstage Junior is wrapping up a week of theatre camp at school with two public performances of The Little Mermaid - tonight at 7 and tomorrow morning at 10.

A reminder that there is an All Sports Meeting tonight in the auditorium at 7:00pm. This meeting occurs on the first Monday of August every year, where information will be provided on physicals, eligibility forms, and specific program details if your child plans to participate in an activity this school year at Upsala Area Schools. Attendance is not required, but should you have any questions or forms to turn in, this would be a great time to do it!

The Upsala Legion Post 350 softball team plays in the 2024 Legion State Tournament at 1:00pm today. They will take on Bemidji Post 14 in the first round on Field 1. The game will be streamed on the provided link.

We will be offering a free basketball camp for girls in grades 4-6 (24-25 School year) starting Monday July 29th. The camp will run from 6-7:30pm on Monday July 29th, Wednesday July 31st, Tuesday August 6th, and Wednesday August 7th. There will be no fee for this camp. Please email Coach Klug (nklug@upsala.k12.mn.us) and let him know if your daughter plans to attend and what dates they are able to make it.

The Upsala Hall of Fame Committee is now seeking applications for the 2024-25 school year. To be eligible as a former student-athlete, the student involved must have graduated at least ten years ago. To be eligible as a coach or former school employee, the individual must be two years retired from their coaching position or school position.

The induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, February 15th in the Main Gym in between the boys' and girls' basketball doubleheaders at 3:00pm.

Shoe drive is finished! Thanks to the Thompsons, Hovlands,, and Krebs for loading the truck and to the Thompsons for storing shoes. A HUGE thank you to the Upsala community and beyond for the generous donations that aided our success. Our goal was 90 bags, and we reached 103!
