Upstage Junior Youth Theater Program
Registration for 2025 begins in May
A theater camp ending with a production of "Shrek Jr"
For students entering grades 2 through 12
Using games and activities, students will build stage skills such as volume, diction, characterization, confidence and dramatic expression. They will experience the production process from auditions to performing a full play at the end of the camp, with costumes, sound tech and lights - all on a real stage.
Registration opens on May 5, 2024 for Upsala students, then on May 9 for students from other districts. Registration deadline is June 8. There is currently a limit of 30 students. If registration is full, email: players.upstage@gmail.com to be placed on a waiting list.
The fee is $50, which includes a show tee!
2025 Schedule
Auditions: June 8 at 4pm
Pre-Camp Rehearsals: June 25, 9am - 4pm & July 16, 9am - 4pm
Camp Days: August 4-7, 9am - 4pm
Show Days: August 8, 1pm-8:30pm (show at 7pm). August 9, 9am (10am show).
